Low Fat Labels Can Lead To Weight Gain 

As New year gets into full swing and every low fat/non fat/lose weight eat this and lose weight ad comes  out of the woodwork,  I cringe daily at the plethora of asinine and , in many cases just plain worth less some of these foods are. 

 My friends and our clients are well aware of my abhorrence of low fat and non fat  foods due to their often increased sugar content, artificial sweeteners and laundry list of chemicals which will wreak havoc on your body and weight  loss   efforts  as well as perpetuating complete disregard of "portion control" . 

 This particular study covers the psychological reasons behind the weight gain. Next week we will cover the physiological reasons

Cornell University researchers found that people consume more calories when they eat low-fat snacks than when they eat the regular versions — especially if these people are already overweight
