Going on 19 years in business and close to 2000 consultations, one of the biggest reasons I see for failure is that people try to change EVERYTHING at once.
Make small simple changes each week instead of drastic changes that will only last a short time - Instead of resolving to stop drinking soda entirely , drink one less per week – At 150 calories each, you will save 1050 calories each week I In 3 weeks that is equal to nearly a pound of fat !!
Instead of going from zero exercise to doing an advanced 5 day a week program, start with 3 days a week to build your base and get your mind and body acclimated to this new lifestyle.
Rita is a perfect example of this .How many people do you know who look better now (and in a new decade of life) than they did 5 years ago?
She started with us 5 years ago as a private client and transitioned into one of our group fitness camps 3 years ago .
She is down 3 " in her waist, 2 of belly pooch and 2 1/4 inches in her hips from where she started.
